Save the Date: High-End Technologies at Stanztec 2026!

The 8th Stanztec international trade fair for stamping technology will open its doors at its traditional venue at the Congress Centrum in “gold city” Pforzheim (CCP) from the 16th through the 18th of June, 2026. Preparation for the industry event is already underway, which is targeted at presenting technological innovations in the field of stamping and forming technology at the highest level.

“Brilliant Stamping Technologies” – this is the motto of the eighth Stanztec, a trade fair for stamping technology that serves as an exclusive expert meeting place for specialists and global players in the field of stamping technology once every two years. 138 exhibitors presented innovations and specialised high-end solutions at the event in June 2024. “We’ll be able to welcome roughly 150 exhibitors to the next Stanztec as well,” reports Georg Knauer, project manager at trade fair promoters P. E. Schall. “Traditionally, all of the industry’s major players are on hand, showcasing their collective technological expertise in a highly specialised field.”
Precision stamping technology products are indispensable components in many end-products in a wide variety of designs. Stamping technology trends are moving towards greater levels of product customisation, smaller batch sizes and more complex part geometries. Stamping machines have to fulfil increasing demands for quality and precision. Machine builders also have to fulfil requirements for flexibility, multifunctionality and ease of use. To an ever-greater extent, these are supplementing the stamping and forming processes with peripheral equipment for feeding and handling parts. Process-integrated quality assurance is also emerging as a trend. The efficient use of resources and maximum productivity are also playing an increasingly important role in addition to the integration of functions – the economic efficiency and future viability offered by stamping experts, who also have to compensate for the shortage of skilled workers with modern machines, is ultimately at stake. And thus all in all, automation and digitalisation continue to be the top priorities in stamping technology as well.

Most Important Technical Event for Stamping Experts

The northern Black Forest, and in particular the region surrounding Pforzheim, has traditionally been a centre for stamping and forming technology. The companies located in “Stamping Technology Valley” constitute an internationally active interest group and appear at Stanztec as a regionally organised community. The CCP Congress Centre is Stanztec’s venue of choice, and the event is characterised by concentrated industry power as well as regional ties. Stanztec is a clear commitment to the city of Pforzheim as a trade fair location, which is held in high regard by expert visitors from around the world. The three trade fair days at the customary venue at the CCP are celebrated by the community. For many exhibitors, Stanztec is the trade fair highlight of the year. With regard to the content covered by the event, the trade fair advisory board attaches great importance to expertise and a regional focus in order to underscore the importance of Pforzheim and the surrounding region for the stamping and forming industry.
At Stanztec, a personal exchange of know-how is at the forefront. Visitors regard the trade fair as a unique communication platform with its own special charm. Stanztec’s compact format and its dense concentration of specialists have proven their worth and are a distinguishing feature of this internationally oriented industry highlight. “Exhibitors and expert visitors appreciate Stanztec’s unique format,” says Georg Knauer. “The exhibiting companies spare no effort and provide their guests with the best possible information.” For example a shuttle service is provided which makes it possible for expert visitors to view machines and production processes at first hand,” reports Knauer. Machine users can thus gain a direct impression of system performance. Specific process improvements can also be experienced directly, for example more efficient processes, improved operator safety, minimised waste and reduced energy consumption. “It’s vitally important for all manufacturing companies to align their production processes to economic, ecological and social improvements,” points out Knauer. In this regard, Stanztec 2026 will once again provide fresh impetus and present new technologies for toolmaking and functions integration, and set new standards in terms of economic efficiency and competitiveness. All industry stakeholders are cordially invited to save the dates for the next Stanztec, which will take place in Pforzheim from the 16th through the 18th of June, 2026.
