Brilliant! Technological highlights from Stanztec 2024
Stanztec 2024 once again set new standards in stamping and forming technology and presented brilliant innovations and technological advances. In our article, we show you selected video clips in which exhibitors present their latest developments and solutions for precision sheet metal processing and manufacturing. Experience how leading companies in the industry explain their highly specialised processes and machines in detail and thus shape the future of stamping technology.
Bruderer @ Stanztec 2024
Two outstanding new developments from Bruderer set new standards under the motto ‘brilliant stamping technologies’ and offer a high level of customer benefit.
The BSTA 710-220 automatic punching press is characterised by the world’s longest bed in its performance class, which provides additional space for precise and productive work. With automatic stroke adjustment and versatile options such as variable stroke and tool installation heights as well as press force monitoring, this machine can be optimally customised to individual requirements. The precise mechanics and the innovative drive and lever system also ensure a long service life.
Another highlight is the BSTL 350-88 automatic punching press, the first model in a new series of fixed-stroke automatic punching presses specially developed for the 3C market. Reduced to the essentials, it impresses with high precision and continuity, while reducing energy consumption by up to 30 %. The user-friendly control system with its new tile look and advanced remote maintenance technology ensure a high level of cyber security. With its focus on small parts production, the BSTL offers an attractive price-performance ratio.
Both new developments demonstrate a commitment to driving efficiency and flexibility in stamping technology even further.
Stepper @ Stanztec 2024
Stepper is known for numerous ground-breaking innovations that continuously advance the industry worldwide. Technical standards are set by the Stepper modular system and the combi punching tool – two outstanding examples of the company’s innovative strength.
This year’s trade fair highlight is the stepper laser welding system, a newly developed system specifically for punching technology. Based on 35 years of experience in laser welding, this technology has been optimised and further developed. The key features include the stepper fibre laser system with direct connection to the press and the stepper welding heads with zero-point clamping and cooling.
A special feature of the system is the integrated process monitoring, which ensures consistently high welding quality. Another innovation is the mini-galvo head, which is ideal for seam welding. These developments open up completely new possibilities for punching technology, as traditional processes such as resistance welding (TIG) are more complex and require more maintenance than fibre lasers.
With this progress, Stepper is once again demonstrating its innovative strength – step by step towards the future.
Steinel @ Stanztec 2024
Steinel Normalien AG presented its latest developments at Stanztec in Pforzheim under the motto ‘Brilliant StampingTechnologies’. The innovations are the result of close cooperation with customers, whose ideas serve as the basis for the realised solutions. Steinel supports them with high-precision products, which will be on display at the trade fair stand. The combination of customer ideas and technological expertise enables forward-looking approaches for stamping technology.
Bihler @ Stanztec 2024
Market and customer requirements are currently changing rapidly. The digital transformation is helping to efficiently master the tasks ahead. At Stanztec, Bihler will be demonstrating how our intelligent solutions and innovative digital services can be used to fully utilise the potential in the production of precision stamped-bent parts and complex assemblies. To this end, Bihler combines the real world of stamping and forming assembly technology with the digital world.
With ‘Bihler Digital’ and its digital services for the three areas of engineering, production and training/support, users simply develop the required solutions faster, manufacture with higher productivity and save valuable resources.
Enayati @ Stanztec 2024
Enayati’s product portfolio has been significantly expanded to enable the complete or selective finishing of solid and punched strips up to a thickness of 4 mm and a width of 400 mm with the highest precision and quality. This technological advancement plays a key role in electromobility and infrastructure, particularly in the rapid charging of electric vehicles.
Compared to traditional rack electroplating, strip plating offers numerous advantages: more flexible and cost-efficient further processing in the customer process and a reduction in processing costs of around 30% compared to individual part plating. Selective coating also enables significant savings to be made on precious metals, which not only offers economic benefits but also increases resource efficiency.
These developments emphasise the company’s claim to offer innovative solutions for future challenges in production technology.
Haulick+Roos @ Stanztec 2024
The latest product developments at Haulick+Roos include an innovative and high-precision guide system that enables the production of extremely precise stamped and formed parts.
Another focus is on a new temperature equalisation system that both increases precision and significantly extends the service life of the tools. This is complemented by a new control concept with a user-friendly and ergonomically designed user interface that allows even less trained specialists to operate the presses safely and efficiently.
The presentation is rounded off by new service concepts aimed at creating a positive and trusting customer experience from the very first encounter and ensuring smooth cooperation.
Leicht+Müller @ Stanztec 2024
Leicht + Müller is a stamping technology specialist specialising in high-end products.
Back in 1996, together with our partner Bruderer, we presented the single-stage production of multi-part contacts with an integrated laser process – a world first at the time and now state of the art. The experience gained from producing over 1 billion contacts is the basis for our continuous development of innovative moulds. Our product range includes rolling contacts and contacts with press-fit zones for electronics and electrical engineering as well as stamped parts for medical and personal care products. We produce the smallest multi-part contacts that are stamped with maximum stroke speed and high output.
Our own special plant engineering department creates complex production systems for fill level sensors. Stamped parts are fitted with components and overmoulded with plastic. They are used for level measurement in the automotive sector.
