Stanztec increasingly attracts international audience with 3512 trade visitors

With an unexpectedly great success for the exhibitors and know-how-based detail and system solutions for the trade visitors, the Stanztec – Trade Fair for Stamping Technology was also able to impressively set the scene in its 5th edition! From June 21 to 23, 2016, the gold and jewelry city of Pforzheim was once again dominated by high-end stamping technology. Because this early summer, more than 160 exhibitors (169 manufacturers and suppliers to be exact) were once again present at the CCP Congress Center Pforzheim, presenting a wide range of innovative products and services from the world of stamping technology to the 3512 trade visitors from 25 nations on 3,500 m² of exhibition space.

Completely booked out for the 3rd time in a row, the domestic and international trade audience was presented with a wide range of technologies, processes, products, tools and production equipment, all related in some way to stamping technology. The progressive networking of processes makes the boundaries visibly flow, because high-quality stamped parts are now turned into precision engineering/mechatronic assemblies in further mostly fully integrated operations. Based on the integration of functions, especially in stamped components and assemblies made from them, new challenges arise for designers, and especially for toolmakers, to which the exhibitors at the 5th Stanztec gave and still give convincing answers.

The high-end stamping technology focused in the Pforzheim area, concerning both the construction of high-performance tools and the series production of high-quality stamped parts, and also the peripheral range of production equipment, appeal to an absolutely top-class trade audience every two years. While a significant increase in the number of foreign trade visitors has been observed in recent years, this trend continued in 2016. According to the evaluation of the trade visitor structure, a significant increase in trade visitors from Southern, Northern and also Eastern Europe (Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Hungary) can be noted for this session.

One reason for this is probably the increased quality and delivery requirements of producers and their main suppliers from all over the world. In order to be able to fulfill the wishes of these customers in the long term, sub-suppliers are increasingly relying on technologies and automation, and this first of all requires high-performance tools or even stamped high-performance components or function-integrated assemblies. The exhibitors also commented accordingly, unanimously reporting a very high quality of trade visitors as well as concrete problem solutions discussed at the booth. Some exhibitors even spoke of the best Stanztec since the beginning and as a consequence, many exhibitors not only see Stanztec as “set”, but a majority of the companies still spoke on the spot for a renewed participation in the then 6th Stanztec (19.06. to 21.06. 2018).
